ACLS renewal For Dentistry
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
State Board Requirements:
Most states require refresher training every two years. Each state has guidelines for both didactic and/or clinical experiences. Check with your local State Board for the specific regulations in your state and we will make every effort to help you comply with their requirements.
The St. Joseph’s University Medical Center sponsored program in support with and administered by ASAASD is a comprehensive multi-day review and re-certification program. Lectures can be taken online with WebEX while the SIM Lab process is in person. The ACLS recertification does not require a SIM lab experience, however, we highly recommend the hands-on review for your practice.
The ACLS recertification is provided twice a year during the IV Sedation program. It includes is a hands-on SIM lab experience for intubation and medical emergencies.
